Im a bit out of the loop when it comes to researchign who owns a domain. If anyone can help, that would be really appreciated.

You'd have to have a bit more than that, I'm afraid Phillip. GDPR really shagged us for this sort of stuff, but it's ying yang, I suppose. More privacy but the trade off is that it made it much more difficult to figure this stuff out.

No wayback history on either .com or .co.uk to speak of. Neither domains share registrant data, naturally. Both on 1AND1, nameservers don't resolve to anything but a blank IONOS (1AND1) page. So short of contacting 1AND1 directly (use this form https://registrar.ionos.info/domains_raa/privacy), and hoping they can pass a message onto the owner, I am afraid you are SOL!

If you get clever with Nominet you can swap a set of your own fake info, for a registrants real info. The domain owner will be told the infos been handed out and who to.
