I'm not familiar with Dan, but when the buyer has paid, I got an email from Nameshift:
"Congratulations! The domain essexoffices.co.uk has been sold. You will shortly receive an email from us with the transfer instructions.
You can already take these next steps:
- Get the authorisation code from your registrar
- Remove (if necessary) all registrar locks from the domain
You will receive an email when the domainname has been transferred.
Nameshift Transfer Team"
-- I jumped on the live chat and said
"I've had a notice that a domain's been sold but as it's a .co.uk domain I'm not sure on the the next step as your email implies it's for a .com"
-- they replied
"Thanks, for .uk we ask the buyer if they want a TAG change or Nominet push, if they don't respond in time we will ask for a tag change to our provider so we can proceed with the payout. As a email is send to the buyer i will keep you up to date."
-- a couple of days later I got a message asking me to release the domain to the NAMESCO tag, and that triggered their invoice generation and payment.
