Oldcorn question (Domains not appearing in Nominet)

Good morning iamrofe (member at the Oldcorn).

You requested help and got nowhere on another substandard domain forum. I personally will never register on that particular forum because I despise the owner due to how he has treated is long-standing members who are way smarter than he is and could ever be. I will reply to your question here which may help you and others resolve your Godaddy/Nominet invisible domains in your Nominet account issues.

You state you cannot see your domains in your Nominet account that are being held in a Godaddy satellite registrar account. I assume all registrars now owned by GD behave in the same way backend-wise, so, check your domain setting at GD or wherever and take off 'Privacy' . If privacy is enabled which it is by default I believe now then the privacy overrides Nominet so they can't even see it. Pretty shitty hey that a registrar can override Nominet? Just my suggestion to give you an explanation.

PS: The members here at 4m are way smarter than the Goofballs over at Oldcorn so in future it might be better to seek technical solutions from the members here rather than over in the 'Twilight Zone'.

I was in the same position.

Got an email from 123 Reg requesting I log in using the same details as TSOhost.

Did that and all my domains were listed there. Not checked Nominet yet but feel safe as I now have ‘access’ to them - will look at it more after Christmas.

Think Mark was having problems logging in - it was saying email address not found but when he tried to create an account with that email it was saying email already in use,

I imagine he will have got it sorted now via support
