What is your biggest pet hate, when it comes to naming a UK website?

  • DogBiscuitsuk.co.uk
  • UkDogBiscuits.co.uk
  • DogBiscuits.uk.net
  • Dog-Biscuits.co.uk
  • DogBiscuits.uk

Obviously it goes without saying the worst is:
- DogBiscuits.it.com

But I think .uk.net or putting UK just before the .co.uk/.uk extension 🤮

This sort of thing, I've seen it a few times.

DogBiscuitsCO.uk

In fact, someone has done it to one of my one word domains I own.

Example mine: word.co.uk

Them: wordco.uk

I might issue a DRS 🤔

I'm always astounded at the number of companies that are willing to put UK before the TLD instead of paying £200 for the one that doesn't.

Also, can there be a government ban on using Hotmail and Gmail addresses when a company owns a domain?

On my travels, there are too many buildings that have a perfectly serviceable .uk but then have a Hotmail or Gmail on their sign. What self respecting company does that. Email is £3 month

100% it’s so annoying. Every time I see someone with a website address but still using gmail or whatever for their email, I think about calling them and selling them some email services from a car behind 😂

You should do it!
I would be too emotional about it. Like why. Do people not look at their website address and think, "Hmm, I know what would look really professional. A matching email address!"
