As you will have seen...
Anyone going for it?
Ciprian resigning was a big loss, plus I think its Andrew and Dan now ending terms and ineligible due to the term limits as well to make it a big big big loss!
Nominations are now being called for the election for five of the six council positions: two from the large registrar segment, two from the mid-small registrar segment and one from the secondary market segment (i.e. participate in the .UK as a registrar solely to register domain names for themselves).
UKRAC members will serve a two-year term and receive a per diem payment of £550 for participation at each formal UKRAC meeting.
You can find out more about the UKRAC and its terms of reference on the website.
Nominations open today, Tuesday 29th April 2024, and will remain open until 17:00 (BST) on Friday 16th May 2025.
Candidacy
To be eligible for nomination, candidates must be current Nominet members and be nominated by one other Nominet member – candidates should include the name and email address of that member in the application so that it can be independently verified. The candidate's application should include a written statement of no more than 250 words.
To ensure the widest possible representation, please note that only one candidate per Nominet member or associated group of Nominet members may stand for election.
UKRAC members serve a two-year term and may be re-elected, limited to four years within any six-year rolling period.
Further information about the UKRAC can be found on the website and in the Member Hub.
