They don't sell well, considering how many have just stayed with the same owner for donkeys...

I wouldn't spend that on any .co.uk frankly. I think that single letter .co.uks look awful as well.

I would like to own one though. Just not for that much.

Just my opinion though.

One letter domains just look rubbish but I guess that maybe due to rare usage by end users. Perhaps X will change that perception.

Only B & U have sites on them - it looks like the market has spoken and nobody wants them.

Agreed. The single letter just seems to be overpowered (for want of a better word) by the suffix. Moreover this one fails the radio test because it could be heard as are.co.uk or ah.co.uk

Apparently no reserve?
The minimum bid is £60k, so that is effectively the reserve.

According to this excellent website it was originally bought in Nominet's 2011 single letter auctions for £40k. Notwithstanding the subsequent addition of the .uk, I can't see the auction value of the pair being any more than that today. Probably less.

Ordinarily this is a domain that you would just sit on in the hope that eventually some branding company would offer you megabucks, so it's interesting that Ryan is trying to offload it at auction.
