I loved the Automaton.

When they initially discontinued it, I changed the email address and made an intermediate bit of perl that read the mail and posted it to their API so all the automated systems didn't care :)

And Nominet's mail server "feature" to put your registration e-mail first into the queue, even when received 1ms later, was even greater
