There I was this morning, supping a cuppa and watching Boon, when what should interrupt my repose? An ad for CarMats.co.uk on the actual telly!

You may know/remember that CarMats.co.uk is the brainchild of Ash Young (webmonkeyash) who used to knock around on Ac*rn/UKDNF.

He started with a simple exact match domain and built it into into a £10million empire.

Meanwhile, I see that the judge who put you away is making a reappearance at this year's summit. Helmuts has posted a hagiography to announce the fact, which includes the sentence "I have seen him make a multi-million offer for a TLD, and once it was rejected, the seller could not get him back to that number again."

I don't know what Helmuts thinks he witnessed, but I would venture with near certainty that it wasn't a serious offer to buy a TLD - for the simple reason that Ryan doesn't have multi-millions to offer. More likely just an attempt to impress a gullible onlooker, which seems to have succeeded.
