@ILoveDotUK's request for someone's contact details prompted me to visit Acorn for the first time in a while, and I see there have been some changes.

The good...
(1) The infantilising "Rule #1" has gone! Perhaps the penny finally dropped that the rule itself was by far the most insulting thing on the forum because it insulted absolutely everyone's intelligence.

The bad...
(2) The ban on AI-generated content has also gone, having been added to the marquee with much fanfare only a year ago. Quote: "The thing is, we are strongly against AI-generated content on AcornDomains and your account may face immediate suspension if found."

And the funny...
(3) Not only is AI-generated content no longer banned, it's now actively encouraged, with the forum becoming a hub for both ChatGPT and Grok:

I couldn't immediately find any explanation for the screeching U-turn, but I wonder how long it will be before the marquee says "No human-generated content allowed"?

(4) Ryan has pulled his sponsorship yet again. This despite Helmuts' fawning puff piece announcing his attendance at last month's summit. Those two really are the Laurel and Hardy of the domain world.
