Co-founder of Monzo bank is also a domainer

Interesting to discover that Jonas Templestein, co-founder of Monzo Bank, is also a domainer.

He runs Garple, selling "startup names that grow on you", the idea being names that are so unique you won't have any issues over trademarks, etc (as Monzo did when originally called Mondo).

Some of the listed names are a bit too unique for my taste, but concept is a good one imho.

Hmm, but the sold domains don't exist, like tarapo.com, isn't even registered but says sold.

Also, is it Jonas Huckestein or Templestein?

Templestein - I've corrected it above.

Tarapo.com has been previously registered.

the sales pages have a stripe payment form, cant imagine many people wanting to put CC details directly into some unknown domain...

there's no contact details at all that i can see
