Numerous registrars pipe off domains which are not renewed to GoDaddy, ISTR enom has their own expiring/expired platform .
gTLDs often get sold at 2-4 weeks from expiry rather the drop, with some like namebright/hugedomains making a serious business out of it.
I personally think that is morally and ethically wrong and those responsible should be #$&@. I know I'm referencing an old Guardian report but I just wanted to ask you if you think this kind of behaviour is acceptable 26 years later in 2026 when ethical and moral standards seem to have dropped to a whole new low? What's your take on this?
