Recommendations for films, series, etc.,

I have just started watching "For those about to die" - Up to Episode 3, very good so far
Also If you liked "The Walking Dead" check out the spin off series "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon"

Some others that I've really enjoyed:
Vikings
Black Sails
The Man in the High Castle

Big fan of Vikings too and the sequel, Vikings: Valhalla.

Also, in a very similar vein, The Last Kingdom.

Watched the mini-series, The Casual Vacancy, at the weekend. Really enjoyed it.

"When Parish Councilman Barry Fairbrother (Rory Kinnear) unexpectedly dies in his early forties, the town of Pagford is left in shock. An English idyll, with a cobbled market square and an ancient abbey, Pagford is not what it first seems. What lies behind the pretty façade is a town at war - rich at war with poor, teenagers at war with their parents, wives at war with their husbands, and teachers at war with their pupils. And the empty seat left by Barry on the parish council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest battle the town has yet seen. Who will triumph in an election fraught with passion, duplicity, and unexpected revelations?"

Another vote for "The Gentlemen" (Netflix) - really different and entertaining show and looking forward to the next season.

Ricky Gervais's "After Life" (Netflix) was very good, superbly done comedy on a sensitive subject. A little too much bad language in places but laugh out loud at times while at other times quite emotional.

If you loved the excellent "Clarkson's Farm" then you'll probably like "Vinnie Jones in the Country" (Discovery+/Amazon Prime Video) - it's a similar celebrity running a farm theme and while Vinnie isn't as likeable as Clarkson it is still an enjoyable watch.
