SEO sugar rush

I didn't mean for it to read like that, however if you open the urls from the past history - you can see a pattern.
I've gotten around to doing a bit of digging now. Looks illegal to me, surely circumventing GamStop is illegal. Why would they spend so much money to potentially have Nominet/Cyber shut them down.

They would have to be very specific in what they are alleging these companies are doing, I don't think there is any specific law they are breaking to be honest. I don't know of a license system for sites that feed traffic into a legitimate Casino like there is for brokers in finance.

Gov would spend 3-4 years debating one and bringing it into law, Google will most likely have acted way before then anyway, especially on .uk's and co.uk's.

Reactions: ben
that could be a record price for a .org.uk.......

The complainant doesn't have a TM for "manage" nor do they own imanage_co_uk. Rights reach or confusion laughable.

Wrong thread, bud.

It feels like the SEO boom is now deflating.

Brilliant, SEO domain market is right way I want it! Completely oversupplied and I've picked up some nice names for pennies on what they were! Keep listing them guys :D

It looked to have cooled a bit but £51k today for a domain you couldn't have got £500 for a few months ago would suggest otherwise again.

Which one was that

Not sure if there is an actual boost in .uk domains to be honest. Had my eye on autistic.uk which previously sold for £50 few years ago, and look how that went down.

Looks like it was ClickOut Media again.

Maybe like 3-5K you would have got that for. I sold a similar domain in Sept 2024 for £4,400.

HQ backlinks plus a recent history of ranking. You can't extract much from just the backlinks without full context of the domain.

It’s a strange one, but I feel like ClickOut have been paid a large amount (£1m+) for SEO and trying to quickly find relevant links

The Rush has ended sell them all to me now please lol

It is quite amazing, the domains are so cheap right now. I was away for a tradeshow and missed auctions, but right now I am picking up what seem to be great domains for 50% less than they were before.
