Now we are in the knockout stages, who's your money on?

For me, France seem to be on another level.
 
I'm cheering for two teams - France because of all their awesome attacking options, hard not to love that as a neutral. And anyone who's playing England.
 
The big old beasts of Europe are being slain. First Germany, then Netherlands, and I won't be surprised if England are next to fall.

France are a formidable force so my francs are on them to win it.

A transformational performance. Something clicked and a coherent football team emerged.

Anything could happen against Norway because Haaland is supernatural.

The Spain v Belgium game actually flowed and was enjoyable to watch because there was very little of the usual play-acting. It was also nice to see a Ref that didn't rely on VAR every time.

Has anyone else noticed how much worse the theatrics seem to be with a lot of South American teams? Every bit of contact turns into a stop-start farce—players rolling around, screaming like their leg's been sawn off, then miraculously recovering 30 seconds later. It's embarrassing to watch.

Anyway, I can't wait for the big game tonight; it's gonna be a cracker.
 
Never really been a big footie fan but I will be getting a few beers in for tonight's game. I'll be cheering for Norway on this occasion ⚽ 🏆 🥂

Thank you Marek! You could have gloated at the defeat of the team I was rooting for but you didn't 🤪 I think it shows you are a cut above the riffraff and that shows maturity not often seen on a domainer forum period🌻 Once again, thank you for gloating not and showing the world how to behave in the face of such a tragedy! The world cup can be such a fun time if everyone is nice 😉
 
What's everyone's thoughts on outcome considering the referee for the match is Messi's favourite.
The ref seems to have an erection ( for lack of a better word ) for Messi as he always seems to be looking elsewhere when Messi is involved in any drama.
I hope England win but sadly I have my doubts with this match.
 
Well the ref pleasantly surprised me... a little
Once again though Messi continues to have a 100% win rate with that ref.
I don't mind us losing .. if the other team is genuinely better.
There was more tripping up in that match than closing time at the last stop on a pub crawl
 
Worst thing we did was score, it was like back to the Southgate days after that.
