Yes, you don't see a lot of advertising hoardings in St James's Park, so the analogy is bogus.

It would have been better if he'd given a couple of examples of forums in other niches that have succeeded in doing what he's trying to do - if there are any.

Having said that, it's his forum, he's set out his stall, and only time will tell whether it works or not.

I see Trauiner is still fighting the good fight over there. He(?) doesn't seem to be here with that username, but with a different one perhaps?

I noticed that one of the stands at the summit are EURid 🤢. Let's hope that they don't request proof of a .EU domain, cause they stopped most of us from having one.
