For those of you who dabble in SEO domains... we have a set of domains with decent ish DR, we don't really have a use for things like this so looking to offload them.

[SOLD]

Not looking for big money, call it £100 for the lot (+VAT).

You've given these away way too cheaply. Theres 3 very motivated buyers taking advantage of a short term scam pretty much at the moment, you could have got 100's for one of these by auctioning them.

No you couldn't, aren't even worth renewing - not all domains get bids.

Once you filter out the spam, these sites have about 4-5 links each

Some of the recent purchases have been absolute rubbish - theres stuff selling for 100's you couldn't even get a £50 bid on 3 months ago.

Any particular examples that are parity to what OP sold?

Because SEO is SEO, some people don't care where the links come from lol

After not paying attention for a few months, I've just looked at a few recent auctions. Some of the prices seem well-inflated. Yet most of them don't even have active nameservers months later. What's the deal?

The guys spent £32k today alone on 9 domains that I honestly wouldn't have seen fetching £1.5k in total a few months ago. It's really went mental now.

If you're sitting on any seo domains, get them listed and get them cashed in.

I assume you are referring to the £11k and £9k org.uk domains as part of this. Is there a logical explanation?

There is a service in UK called Gamstop. Gambling addicts can register their details with Gamstop and they will immediately be self-excluded from every UK licensed gambling/casino website overnight. No more gambling for them.

Except when their illness gets the better of them and they start googling "Non Gamstop Casinos"

Now they're illegally sent to offshore casinos to get scammed. Yes this is illegal - you can't promote foreign, non registered casinos to UK traffic. And it's pretty undeniable thats whats going on when "non gamstop casinos" content is going on uk drops.

So this temporary situation, and at least 2 more buyers jumping on the bandwagon, has massively inflated domain prices to something we've never seen before, and will never see again.

If you don't care where the money is coming from, get your seo domains listed asap:cool:

it's easy money tbh, both the domains and the affiliate sites - the only reason the prices are so inflated right now is because one buyer won't back down.

But if anyone wants to sell in bulk, hit me up - won't pay the auction price but can pay probably double what you would have got, any budget.

You guys can pm me also - I too am willing to make a massive mark up passing any unwanted seo domains into the casino buyers hands.

I noticed a few days ago that there had been a huge uptick in the prices of SEO domains at DL (thecovemaenporth.co.uk £4k FFS) and wondered what was going on, so thanks for explaining it @Marek.

Would you go so far as to say that it's organised crime that is buying these domains?
