The .uk domains spotted in the wild thread

Utter spam... But still...

Update: or maybe not utter spam, if having your website on the front of a football team's shirt does it for you https://www.lcfc.com/news/4051719/bcgame-announced-as-new-lcfc-principal-partner?lang=en

Seems to be a pattern these days.

That being said, I would love to get my business name on Barrow AFC's 2025 kit, that would be fucking insane. But what they in fact did, was partner with some random Canadian state. Yes, a whole state (read province), lol. Now we have a fucking Canadian flag on our shirts ha.

Sigh.

Couldn't take a picture because I was driving, but outside the Ford garage probably getting serviced where around 6-7 large transits belonging to this company

All with the .uk domain name on them.

Looks like they own the .co.uk but haven't even redirected it to their website...

Another one that is explicitly .UK that I stumbled upon when looking up some law information.

It's nice that they match their .UK exactly "Humanists UK"

Stinky rebellion!!!!

and "Friends of the Earth"

From what I can tell the "Keep your tiny off my planet!" is a TDS statement.

FirstSite.uk - an exhibition building in Essex. .co.uk dead, but seemingly owned by them (same tag).

I sat down to watch Grand Designs. There was a company they were dealing with called Unique Homes. I just googled it to see if he company still existed... I didn't find it.

However, for a search of "unique homes ltd" it came up with a .UK!!!

A simple site, but looks like they do things that aren't cheap, acquiring land etc.

They clearly didn't see the advantage of buying the .co.uk for £4998 vs £4.20 for the .uk.

As I always say, I am surprised at how often .UK names are popping up on Google.

HSBC seem to have started using the .uk (in part). Seems .uk is part of their future strategy.

That's a nice one! Yes, a search for HSBC business returns that domain as the top result.

Shows their awareness of it and it great for .uk believers as it seems to be an indication of where they are intending to move to long term. At some point the rest of their main site may follow.

This thread continues to deliver on the comedy front.

Can we rename it "PROOF .UK'S ARE DEAD?"
